I have been following the progression of this model for some time, and I have constantly been impressed by the amount of detail that has gone into the body and engine.

The detail of the body shape is impeccable. The panels are separate and have a visible thickness with detailed edges that approach reality, and the addition of rear wheel gill impressions brings a nice look. The hood sculpting detail is amazing. Watching the engine take shape during the project, it was fantastic to see little details such as the bolts, nuts and beaded welds on the pipes. I did not see any welds on the roll cage however, which leads me to think that the artist may have had enough with the insane detail in the model.

The surface materials for the body are nearly indistinguishable from actual body paint, and the Camaro RS red/white striped color scheme is beautiful, reminding car buffs of the old Matador Red RS kits. The metals are fantastic, from the engine parts to the chrome trim. The chrome trim elements are a bit thin and don't stand out quite as much as the real thing, looking a bit more like silver striping than actual trim parts. The wheels have an interesting low-profile design that is pleasing to the eye. The tires look a bit like solid plastic rather than rubber, but have a great shape and tread design.

I would have liked to see some details such as the grille and side panel badges, but some people prefer their cars without them for a cleaner look.

I would love to have the complete vehicle as a poster on the wall of my garage.
